Job Description

The role involves analytics for commodity procurement. Itwill involve data identification & collation from various sources /stakeholders, data crunching, identifying and representing relevant analyticaldata through dashboards / presentations / reports based on the requirement forCommodity Procurement for Olam Agri. The primary focus will be analysis of commodityprice, trends, stock availability, shipment planning, stocks in transshipmentport, shipments incurring demurrage etc

• Accustomed to cross-linking data sets extractedfrom various ERPs, reports, shared files and similar systems & finallyrepresenting it
• Proficient with excel
• Power BI knowledge and usage is a plus

Conduct a comprehensive analysis of price, costs and assistthe trader with (analysis of commodity price, trends, stock availability,shipment planning, stocks in transshipment port, shipments incurring demurrage,freight rate analysis, supplier performance etc.

Data collation & collection,assimilation, crunching, segmenting and driving analytics to help business intaking informed decisions

Data will need to be derived fromvarious sources: System (ERP, SharePoint, etc), Financial, Carriers, suppliersand a variety of stakeholders would need to be engaged. Collaborate acrossfunctions to obtain data and produce it as per the requirement fromstakeholders.

Knowledge of power BI would anadvantage.

May be required to discuss,clearly articulate the requirement to the stakeholder (through written emails, TEAMScalls, etc) and obtain the desired data

May need to educate and ensure thestakeholder in the manner of collating, maintaining and entering the data intothe relevant systems

Review the collated data, identify& analyze it to obtain the desired result

Prepare reports / dashboards as requiredby the project / process and share this with the stakeholder within thestipulated time
