You will mentor peers, contribute to architecture decisions, and collaborate with QA, data science, and product teams. The role requires leadership experience and strong proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
• Proven ability to design scalable and secure systems.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Experience with AWS, RESTful APIs, and data stores.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile SCRUM team to plan, scope, estimate and deliver solutions.
• Develop scalable web applications and services.
• Investigate and resolve issues in a large web application with tests.
• Analyze performance and optimize the web app.

Role Overview

Our Research Development (RD) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the RD team ensures our customers can seamlessly use our products and depend on their consistency.

Responsibilities

• Description The Software Engineering team is a group of Fullstack developers who design, develop, and maintain our products, tools, and infrastructure.


• Your day-to-day job will consist of:
  
  
  • Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation, and execution of technical solutions
  
  
  • Develop scalable web applications and services
  
  
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported for a large web application following best practices such as authoring or updating unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithms
  
  
  • Analyze performance and develop improvements to the performance of the web application
  
  
  • Perform upgrades to 3rd party libraries and tools used by the web application
  
  
  • Implement new web application software features and products following best practices such as authoring unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithms
  
  
  • Specialize in client or server-side web application development as a member of a project team
  
  
  • Familiarity with the full technical stack
  
  
  • Develop software to support internal initiatives, tools, update framework and application functionality
  
  
  • Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant and related work experience.


• At least 3+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role.


• Experience designing scalable and secure systems.


• Knowledge of performance optimization and system reliability


• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js (Express.js/NestJS).


• Solid experience in React.js, including Hooks and state management.


• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript


• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs / microservices


• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB).


• Experience designing data persistence and caching concepts using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.)


• Experience with modern front-end frameworks.


• Experience in mentoring and guiding developers


• Strong understanding of clean code, design patterns, and version control (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architecture


• Familiarity with Redux / advanced state management
