Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Electrical/Computer Science).
• 3-5 years of solid industry full-stack software development experience.
• Experience with UI/Frontend tech: React.js, QT; Backend: Python, C++, Java.
• Experience with workflow automation and DevOps tooling.
• Experience applying ML models to engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software products and platform for semiconductor design automation supporting design, tapeout and post-tapeout workflows.
• Develop software/AI solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability and design reuse.
• Integrate commercial EDA tools via API/CLI into Skyworks design flows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements.
• Debug design flow issues and improve tool reliability and scalability.
• Define and develop good software development practices.
• Support semiconductor tape-out schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use AI/ML to optimize processes and improve predictability across flows.

This role sits at the intersection of muti-tier software product and platform development and EDA tools, silicon design flows, and scalable software systems. Your work will make a direct impact on company's top and bottom line.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building innovative products from ground up, automate processes, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software products and platform for semiconductor design automation supporting design, tapeout and post-tapeout workflows


• Develop software / AI solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability and design reuse.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field


• 3-5 years of relevant solid industry Full-stack software development experience


• Stong experience with software tech-stack - UI (React.js, QT). Backend (Python, C++, Java), Databases (Azure SQL, Databricks)


• Experience with workflow automation


• Experience using Machine learning models to solve complex challenges.


• Experience developing custom AI agents, MCP servers


• Experience leading DevOps (github, jenkins)


• Experience hositng application on web server


• Confortable working with both Linux and Windows environment


• Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Perforce/CI/CD

Software Engineering & Operations

• Ability to host, operate, and scale web-based software tools in Unix/Linux environments


• Experience setting up and maintaining Apache (or similar) web servers in on-premises environments


• Working knowledge building software product which are secure by design

Cloud & Modern Tooling

• Experience or familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)


• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar) to improve productivity and automation

Desired Experience and Skills

• Domain experience in semiconductor


• Exposure to large-scale EDA compute environments or regression infrastructures


• Experience supporting hybrid on-prem + cloud engineering platforms


• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts applied to EDA flows and tooling
