Nasuni is expanding its Hyderabad Innovation Integration Center, seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C#.NET) to design, implement, test, deploy, and operate production software. You will own major features end-to-end, primarily on backend/platform work in a Linux/Kubernetes environment, while contributing to the React frontend stack.

You will collaborate across product teams, refine APIs, optimize data processing, and help establish strong engineering practices within a growing Hyderabad team.

Senior Software Engineer - C#.NET

Location: Hyderabad, India - Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Role Overview

Nasuni is building a new engineering capability in our Hyderabad Innovation Integration Center following the addition of DryvIQ to the Nasuni platform.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of scalable content intelligence, metadata, classification, and data governance capabilities for enterprise unstructured data. You will be a hands-on engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and operating production software across a modern C#/.NET, Linux, Kubernetes, database, and web application environment. Your primary depth will be in backend and platform engineering, while contributing across the product stack, including React-based user experiences. This role is suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex product and data problems, can independently take significant features from design through production, and wants to help establish a strong engineering culture within a growing Hyderabad team.

Qualifications

Must-have

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with meaningful experience building production software using C# and .NET .
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including APIs, service design, concurrency, testing, debugging, and maintainable software design.
• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting software in Linux environments.
• Production experience with containers and Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration.
• Strong database engineering experience, including data modeling, SQL, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience independently owning significant software features or services from design through production.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex production, performance, or reliability problems.
• Strong engineering judgment, collaboration, and code-review practices.

Preferred

• Production experience with PostgreSQL .
• Experience with ClickHouse , analytical databases, or other high-volume data platforms.
• Experience designing systems that store, query, or process large volumes of metadata .
• Experience developing product functionality using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native SaaS platforms, or high-throughput data-processing services.
• Experience with observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and production operations.

Ideal

• Experience building content intelligence, enterprise search, data classification, data governance, file-processing, or unstructured-data platforms.
• Experience optimizing systems operating across very large datasets or high-volume processing pipelines.
• Experience helping establish engineering practices within a new or rapidly scaling product team.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development workflows with strong validation practices.
