Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a Senior Sitecore Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain Sitecore XP/XM based solutions within the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Sitecore-based enterprise solutions, integrations, content architectures, and business logic while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of Sitecore development experience.
• Strong experience with Sitecore XP/XM 10+.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Deep understanding of Sitecore Architecture (CM/CD), Sitecore Templates and Content Modelling, Workflows and Publishing, Sitecore Pipelines, Security and Permissions, Caching Strategies, Solr Search, Serialization and Content Deployment.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Sitecore XP/XM solutions.
• Develop custom Sitecore components, renderings, templates, pipelines, processors, and workflows.
• Configure and manage Sitecore content architecture and data templates.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, CRM, ERP, marketing, and enterprise platforms.
• Develop RESTful APIs and service-layer components.
• Support Sitecore search implementation using Solr.
• Optimize application performance, caching strategies, indexing, and content delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex Sitecore platform issues across environments.
• Participate in deployment, release management, CI/CD, and DevOps activities.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Follow Sitecore and .NET development best practices.
