Job summary

STL Digital seeks an experienced SAP MM Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM expertise, including procurement, inventory mgmt, and logistics. The role requires S/4HANA knowledge and cross-module integration with FI, SD, PP, QM, and PM, plus ARIBA familiarity.

Based in Bokaro, the position is WFO at the Vedanta ESL plant with 6 days a week work pattern. Immediate joiners preferred, with accommodation possible at plant location and notice up to 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP MM functional experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with other modules.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP MM projects and support.
• ARIBA and integration with FI/SD/PP/QM/PM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM processes including procurement, inventory, and invoice verification.
• Manage GR/GI, material master, vendor master, and stock transfers.
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, and support projects.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements and interfaces.
• Perform testing, UAT, and training; ensure month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure audit compliance and resolve production issues within SLAs.
• Prepare process docs and SOPs.

SAP MM Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) module. The candidate should possess strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, logistics processes, business process mapping, and SAP support/implementation projects. Experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP MM processes including:
• Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)
• Inventory Management
• Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI)
• Material Master Management
• Vendor Master Management
• Invoice Verification
• Stock Transfers and Physical Inventory
• Analyze business requirements and provide SAP MM solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, and support projects.
• Coordinate with business users to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Work closely with ABAP developers for custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and user training.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with audit and internal control requirements.
• Monitor and resolve production support issues within defined SLAs.
• Prepare process documentation, SOPs, configuration documents, and training materials.
