Job summary

Arthrex India is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage the SAP landscape, including installation, upgrades, patches, and production support across development, test, staging and production environments.

You will handle capacity planning, monitoring, archiving, on-call rotations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement, go-live readiness, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ECC as Suite on HANA deployment and SAP S/4 (RISE or on-prem).
• Experience with SAP GTS/GTS E4H, SCM/APO, Fiori/Gateway, SLT, GRC, NW SSO, OpenText and Redwood/RMJ.
• Experience with Solution Manager ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, LMDB, SLD and DVM.
• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and Cloud ALM.

• Applies standard SAP principles, concepts and techniques in system installation, monitoring performance, problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Demonstrates excellent tactical approaches that also reflect the strategic perspective of Arthrex.
• Administers all aspects of the systems within Arthrex landscape. This may include system installation, upgrades and application of patches (OSS notes, support packages, add-ons).
• Supports the technical implementation of the SAP system landscape as it evolves (i.e. development, test, staging and production).
• Performs system refreshes and participates in the scheduling/coordination and planning as required.
• Performs capacity planning & monitoring and SAP archiving.
• Works within team & cross-team to ensure continuous improvement & maintenance across all systems.
• Periodic participation in on-call rotation or off-hour project support for go-lives or similar.
• Assists in project creation, business blueprints, realization, final preparation and go-live support.
• Produces extensive documentation of processes for internal team on Microsoft SharePoint or similar.

Primary Skills: (Must have skills)

• Experience with SAP ECC as Suite on HANA deployment and SAP S/4 (either on RISE or on-prem).
• Experience with SAP GTS/GTS E4H, SCM/APO, Fiori/Gateway, SLT, GRC, NW SSO, OpenText and Redwood/RMJ.
• Experience with Solution Manager ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, LMDB, SLD and DVM.
• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and Cloud ALM.
• Knowledge of operating SAP on MS Azure or other Hyper Scaler(s).

Secondary Skills: (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of relational database theory preferred, including familiarity with MS SQL / SAP HANA database structures.
• Knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, including familiarity with SQL programming.
• Knowledge of underlying Infrastructure components, high availability and disaster recovery technologies including backup/restore.
• Experience with SAP BDC, BTC and Signavio.
• Experience in automating routine systems operations and administration tasks via automated scripts and tools.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Advanced degrees and certifications a plus
• Excellent communication skills across various geographies with internal and external customers
• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator required
