Unity Technologies seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to support SOX compliance, operational audits and enterprise risk management. The role involves testing control design and operating effectiveness across business processes and IT controls, with collaboration across business, IT, engineering and security teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in ITGC testing, data analytics, and knowledge of US GAAP and COSO standards.
The Senior Internal Auditor will support Internal Audit Programs including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, Operational Audit, and Enterprise Risk Management. We help Unity achieve its business objectives by bringing a systematic, objective, and disciplined approach to evaluating the effectiveness of the Company's governance, risk management, and compliance and control practices. This role is grounded in business and associated risks. The core of the work is learning how Unity's processes run end to end, identifying where risk sits, and testing whether the controls over those processes operate effectively. Because Unity's processes are enabled by technology, we are looking for someone comfortable following a transaction through the systems that support it. Technical depth is a plus, not a prerequisite. We are looking for a proactive, curious auditor who asks questions until the process or data makes sense, raises risks before they become issues, and is genuinely interested in how the business works.
This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
