Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and backend services powering core product features.
• Work on system architecture, performance optimization, and code quality improvements.
• Integrate third-party services, internal tools, and data pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with ownership and accountability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor juniors, and improve engineering processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Python backend developer.
• Strong expertise in Django and Flask frameworks.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and backend architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORMs.
• Familiarity with caching, messaging queues, and asynchronous processing (Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ).
• Strong understanding of deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Good grasp of version control (Git) and Agile development practices.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑ownership startup environments.
