Job summary

Ecolab Global Services is seeking an engineer to develop knowledge of products, systems and customer needs. The role involves designing and starting up chemical dispensing and application equipment, and CIP systems, with feasibility studies and engineering criteria development driving improvements and impact.

The candidate will work on multiple projects, often with moderate supervision, contributing to new or improved products, processes and methods that significantly affect operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in an engineering discipline with 2–5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and starts up chemical dispensing and application equipment for customer applications.
• Performs feasibility studies and develops engineering criteria.
• Analyzes designs to propose options for structures, systems and components.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver projects with impact.

Work on specific customer applications generally including the design and start-up of chemical dispensing & application equipment, and CIP systems. Conducts feasibility studies, determines manpower and cost estimates, and develops engineering criteria. Performs analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. Activities lead to new or improved products, processes, systems or methods which have significant impact potential.

Education/Work Experience

Degree or advanced degree in an engineering discipline and two to five years of experience.

Independence Level/Reports to

Usually execute multiple projects simultaneously, with only moderate supervision. Participates in the development of work assignments and demonstrates independence by completing assignments without detailed instructions. Expands network of resources through participation in cross functional teams.
