Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr Product Manager for Cybersecurity in Bangalore. You will shape the Authorization Solutions product within Identity and Access Management (IAM), partnering with engineers, data scientists and business teams to define strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams in an evolving, high-complexity space, drive backlog prioritization, and articulate customer and business needs to achieve security and operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of Product management experience in retail or equivalent domain experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into tech outcomes.
  • Experience in agile practices (user stories, sprints, Scrum).

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy, roadmap and OKRs for the product.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver the product.
  • Lead cross-functional work streams and maintain a prioritized backlog focused on high impact work.
  • Act as the voice of the product to stakeholders and translate security and operational challenges into measurable outcomes.

As a foundational component of Target's Cybersecurity strategy, the team develops and enhances services that strengthen authorization governance, improve privileged access management, and automate critical operational processes supporting access reviews and entitlement management.In this role, you will partner closely with product, engineers, architects, and cybersecurity experts to define and deliver Authorization services and capabilities. You will help shape product strategy, prioritize customer and business needs, and translate complex security and operational challenges into measurable product outcomes. Working collaboratively across global teams, you will drive the evolution of critical IAM capabilities that enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and deliver scalable solutions for Target's team members and technology platforms. Product Teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology, discovery and design work.**Role overview:**As a Sr Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as, customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction.
