Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Software Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of cost-effective software solutions using .NET, C#, and microservices. You will provide technical leadership to the team.

You will design scalable architectures, mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners, implement REST APIs, WebSockets, and SignalR, and apply HIPAA-aligned security across data handling and communications.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 13+ years of experience.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Advanced experience with .NET, C#, Web APIs, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure or AWS and relational database design (SQL Server).
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React) is desirable.
• Medical-device software experience preferred.

• Apply HIPAA-aligned security practices for data handling, authentication, voice communications, messaging, and notifications.

• Experience with Azure or AWS and relational database design, including SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React is desirable.
• Proven record of delivering solutions to complex technical challenges; medical-device software experience is preferred.

Good to have

• Experience with WebRTC, SIP, VoIP, media sessions, call signaling, or voice gateway integrations.
• Experience building secure communication, clinical communication, messaging, or alerting applications.
• Experience troubleshooting real-time voice quality, connectivity, latency, reconnection, and device compatibility issues.
