About MyOperator

MyOperator is a Business AI Operator, a category-leader that unifies WhatsApp, Calls, and AI-powered chat & voice bots into one intelligent business communication platform. Unlike fragmented communication tools, MyOperator combines automation, intelligence, and workflow integration to help businesses run WhatsApp campaigns, manage calls, deploy AI chatbots, and track performance — all from a single, no-code platform. Trusted by 12,000+ brands including Amazon, Domino's, Apollo, and Razorpay, MyOperator enables faster responses, higher resolution rates, and scalable customer engagement — without fragmented tools or increased headcount.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Video Editor with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in creating high-quality content for digital platforms. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to deliver performance‑driven videos (ads, social media, product content) with clear ownership of execution quality, platform optimization, and turnaround time. This role is ideal for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into polished, publish‑ready content independently.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
  • Edit short‑form and long‑form videos (Reels, Shorts, ads, explainers) using Premiere Pro / After Effects.
  • Deliver 5–10 edited videos per week based on format and complexity.
  • Convert raw footage into final publish‑ready videos with minimal supervision.
  • Execute platform‑specific edits (Instagram, YouTube, paid ads) with correct formats, pacing, and retention focus.
Motion & Visual Effects
  • Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Perform color correction and grading using built‑in tools or DaVinci Resolve (if applicable).
  • Handle subtitles, captions, and text overlays in multiple languages.
  • Edit and clean audio using Adobe Audition or equivalent tools (noise reduction, leveling, syncing).
  • Ensure clear sound output with proper music selection and audio sync.
  • Iterate edits based on structured feedback from marketing/design teams.
  • Work with marketing and content teams to understand campaign goals and content direction.
  • Maintain consistency in style, pacing, and branding across all outputs.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of professional video editing experience (agency, startup, or in‑house).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro AND After Effects.
  • Portfolio available via YouTube, Vimeo, Behance, or personal website (must be publicly accessible).
  • Experience editing short‑form content (Reels, Shorts, or performance ads) in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated work involving motion graphics (text animation, transitions, or visual effects).
  • Experience handling end‑to‑end editing (raw footage to final output).
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining consistent visual style.
  • Ability to deliver multiple videos within defined weekly timelines.
  • Experience editing content in English (mandatory).
Good to Have
  • Experience with performance marketing creatives (Meta/YouTube ads).
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or startup environments.
  • Exposure to AI video tools (Runway, Pika, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of script interpretation or storyboarding.
  • Experience using Frame.io, Adobe Team Projects, or similar collaboration/review tools.
  • Use of Red Giant, Motion Bro, or similar plugin packs for transitions/effects.
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve (color grading) or Adobe Audition (audio editing).
  • Familiarity with proxy workflows, compression formats, and export optimization.
  • Must be publicly accessible (YouTube / Vimeo / Behance / personal site).
  • Must include real‑world campaign or brand work (not only personal/academic projects).
  • Should demonstrate variety (ads, social media, explainers, product content).
  • Should show motion graphics, structured editing, and consistent visual style.
What to Expect

First 30 Days: Deliver videos aligned with brand and platform requirements. Demonstrate correct pacing, formatting, and export quality.

60 Days: Independently execute edits with reduced revision cycles. Maintain consistency across multiple formats and campaigns.

90 Days: Deliver high‑quality videos with improved turnaround time. Show measurable improvement in engagement metrics (retention, watch time, CTR where applicable).

You Are NOT a Fit If
  • Your portfolio is not publicly accessible or cannot be verified.
  • Your work consists only of basic cuts without motion graphics or structured edits.
  • You do not have experience with short‑form or performance‑driven content.
  • You rely heavily on templates without custom editing decisions.
  • You cannot demonstrate consistent output within deadlines.
Interview Process
  • HR Round (experience + portfolio validation)
  • Practical Editing Task (real‑world scenario)
