TE Connectivity Ltd. seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead a 30+ engineering team in defining and deploying manufacturing processes for new products.

You will drive the annual productionization of 20-25+ projects, ensuring timing, quality, cost, and performance targets are met. Responsibilities include leading engineering delivery, capturing customer requirements, and partnering with procurement to localize manufacturing in India.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years of experience in medium/large matrix organizations.
• Hands-on experience designing/building complex automation machines for automotive.
• Updated knowledge of current programming and design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 30+ Manufacturing Engineers to define, develop and deploy manufacturing processes and equipment for new product launches.
• End-to-end ownership for capturing customer and stakeholder requirements and delivering the machine to meet expectations.
• Train and coach the team to build ME capability.
• Collaborate with Procurement to develop supplier base and localize machine manufacturing in India.
• Identify automation and cost-saving opportunities on existing lines and drive realization.
• Apply Lean concepts early to eliminate waste and support next-generation machines.

Job Description:

Job Overview

The incumbent will lead a team of 30+ Manufacturing Engineers and be responsible for defining, developing, and deploying manufacturing processes and equipment for new product launches in line with TS India's strategic expansion plans. The role is accountable for the annual productionization of 20-25+ mid-to-complexity projects , delivering operational readiness while consistently achieving targets for timing, quality, cost, and performance .

Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead a team of engineers for delivering Special Purpose machinery to the Plant NPD team for execution of all new projects as per agreed APQP timelines

• End to End responsible for capturing the voice of Customers and All Stakeholder requirements of the product and then Buy/Build the machine to meet the expectations

• Train and Coach the team to build the M.E Capability.

• Work closely with Procurement team to Develop Supplier base and increase localization of machine manufacturing in India

• Identify Automation and Cost Saving opportunities on Existing Production Lines and deliver realization

• Apply Lean Concepts in the initial phase to eliminate waste and build Next Generation machines.

Education and Knowledge

• Technical Degree B.E or any Technical Equivalent degree

• Masters in Technical would be an added advantage

Critical Experience

• 15-20+ years of experience working in medium or large matrix organizations.

• Hands on Experience in designing and building Complex Pin Stitching machines, Complex Automation machines for Automotive industry.

• Updated knowledge on current Programming Software’s and Design Software’s.
