Eyeline Studios in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Manager, VFX Production to lead our producing team across all delivery phases, from pre-production through final delivery.

You will partner with the VP, Production Management as well as each project's Executive Producer, Producer, and creative leads to drive strategic, creative, and operational excellence, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on VFX producing experience in a studio environment.
• Experience leading large VFX production teams (100+ people).
• Strong understanding of production pipelines and tools like Shotgun/Grid.

Eyeline Studios is seeking a Senior Manager, VFX Production to lead our producing team across all delivery phases, from pre-production through to final delivery. In this role, you will partner closely with the VP, Production Management as well as each project's Executive Producer, Producer, and creative leads to drive strategic, creative, and operational excellence, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Operating as a strategic counterpart to our Executive Producers, Producers and creative leadership, you will focus on driving day-to-day delivery. While EPs spearhead client relationships, bidding, and overall strategy, the Senior Manager, VFX Production manages local production team mentorship, upskilling, producer mentorship, scheduling, resource allocation, and margin protection to ensure all studio commitments are consistently met.

This position requires a people-first leader with over 15 years of hands-on VFX producing experience in a studio environment. The ideal candidate brings extensive expertise in navigating the VFX marketplace, a proven ability to collaborate across global time zones, and a proactive drive to master emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VFX production delivery across active global productions supported by the India studio, with a significant focus on UCAN/North American shows, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative and quality standards.


• Serve as a senior escalation point for production needs and concerns, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and partnering with relevant global stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.


• Provide day-to-day leadership, oversight, and mentorship to the Producing team, fostering clear communication, strong production discipline, and effective collaboration with global clients, Executive Producers, and cross-site partners.


• Analyze cost reports, title schedules, quotas, and production data, providing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, optimize capacity, protect margin, and ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.


• Lead resource allocation and title prioritization across India‑supported projects, balancing global client requirements, delivery commitments, crew capacity and wellbeing, and overall studio priorities.


• In partnership with the Executive Producing and Production Management teams, supervise and mentor Producers, providing training, coaching, career development, and support while fostering a strong, accountable, and collaborative production culture.


• Partner closely with global VFX Production leaders and international studio teams to establish consistent production standards, workflows, and best practices, ensuring seamless cross‑site collaboration and efficient delivery.


• Identify workflow gaps, production inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or process improvement, partnering with VP, Production Management, Technology, and other relevant teams to design and implement scalable solutions.


• Act as a key bridge between the India studio and global production teams, establishing strong cross‑site partnerships, anticipating delivery risks, and ensuring India has the clarity, information, resources, and support required to successfully execute work for global productions.


• Drive operational excellence across India VFX Production, establishing clear production practices, metrics, and accountability that enable the studio to scale while maintaining quality, efficiency, and a strong employee experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience VFX Producing, ideally within a studio or VFX production company, with proven leadership of large teams (100+ people).


• Thorough understanding of production pipeline, processes & workflow.


• Should be through and detailed in production tools and expert level at Shotgun / grid.


• A strong desire and interest to understand and learn novel and emerging technologies.


• Exceptional organizational, project management, and resource management skills, with a track record of overseeing multiple complex project schedules using quota.


• Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating effectively across cross‑functional and cross‑cultural teams.


• Strong client management skills, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities; able to make proactive decisions and drive continuous improvement under pressure.


• People oriented leader, adept at mentoring, fostering teamwork, and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
