Dexcom Corporation in Bengaluru is seeking an Engineering Manager for HCP Platforms to build and scale a high-impact team, partnering with U.S. engineering and product leaders to deliver reliable healthcare data solutions.

You will own end-to-end delivery across India–US, drive high-quality execution at scale, lead architecture across a polyglot stack (Node, Ruby, Scala, Go, SvelteKit, Ember), and mentor engineers toward leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience.
• 5–8 years of previous people management experience.
• Proven track record building and scaling distributed teams.
• Strong background in modern web architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering production systems with high reliability and data integrity.

Dexcom Corporation is a leading provider of continuous glucose monitoring technology. The Engineering Manager – HCP Platforms role in Bengaluru will build and grow a high‑impact team, partner with U.S. engineering and product leaders, and deliver reliable high‑volume healthcare data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing engineering team in Bengaluru
• Own end‑to‑end delivery across a distributed India–US team, driving high‑quality execution at scale
• Partner with U.S. based leaders to shape roadmaps, align priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes
• Lead development of scalable, reliable systems for high‑volume healthcare data
• Lead architecture and technical decision‑making across a polyglot stack (Node, Ruby, Scala, Go, SvelteKit, Ember)
• Establish best practices across quality, observability, and operational excellence
• Ensure systems meet performance, security, and compliance requirements
• Develop engineers and emerging leaders through coaching and feedback
• Identify risks early and drive cross‑team alignment and resolution

Qualifications

• Lead through trust and influence, not control or hierarchy
• 10+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineering teams
• Proven track record of building and scaling teams, ideally in global and distributed environments
• Strong technical background in modern web architectures and distributed systems
• Experience leading teams responsible for production systems with high reliability and data integrity requirements
• Experience balancing delivery speed with quality and compliance expectations, especially in regulated or high‑accountability environments
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product, design, and quality teams
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and operational excellence
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on execution levels
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills and ability to influence without authority

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, FDA, or similar)
• Experience with data platforms or analytics products
• Experience building teams or development centers in India
• Exposure to SRE, observability, and incident management practices
