Qualifications

Responsibilities

Manage the process of consolidation across Jubilant Pharmova Group.
Oversee elimination of transactions and balances.
Preparation of financial statements for statutory filings.
Control and post consolidation and GAAP adjustment journals in Hyperion.
Perform analytical reviews and multiple checks of financial information.
Coordinate with auditors and resolve audit queries in a timely manner.
Support implementation of new IFRS/Ind AS standards across the group.
Prepare subsidiary financial statements per IFRS/USGAAP/IND AS for statutory filings and holding-level reporting.

Job Summary: - Consolidation of accounts/financials at Jubilant Pharmova Limited group level for Quarterly and Annual reporting under SEBI and Companies Act. Preparation of Subsidiary Financial statements/information under IFRS, USGAAP and INDAS for statutory filings and other stakeholders.

Reporting Manager: - Director, Corporate Accounts

Key Responsibilities

Manage the process of consolidation across Jubilant Pharmova Group, to produce a single set of consolidated financial results of the Group.
Ensuring subsidiaries complete their submissions accurately and on time.
Overseeing the elimination of transactions, balances and reconciliation of plug.
Controlling & passing of necessary consolidation and GAAP adjustment journals in Hyperion.
Analytical review of the financial information and performing multiple checks, validations and reconciliations.
Dealing with multiple issues that arise during the consolidation process and provide timely resolution.
Administer, develop and improve the accuracy of consolidation process/Hyperion.
To support in implementation of new IFRS/ Ind AS (Accounting Standards)
Preparation of Subsidiary Financial Statements and Information as per IFRS, USGAAP and Ind AS for statutory filings, consolidation at Holding entity level and for other stakeholders
Preparation and finalization of subsidiary financial statements and information for Jubilant Pharmova Limited Group for quarterly and annual reporting.
Providing various information to MIS team and other stakeholders.
Ad hoc reports, as desired by management
Coordination / interactions with auditors for resolution of their audit queries
Audit / LR Coordination for timely closure of statutory audit at Jubilant Pharmova Limited Group level.
Regular interaction with statutory auditors to discuss data requirement, audit queries and audit plan.
Manage the flow of required information by actively coordinating between the auditors & internal departments.
Regulatory reporting is a time bound activity and qualitatively completing the same in a timely matter is critical

Challenges: Handling multi-currency consolidation process for complex group structure under various GAAPs. Work within the strict timelines and delivering high quality financial information for the Group and subsidiary companies, which ultimately forms part of financial results/annual report of the Listed Holding entity. To execute an effective coordination across people located in different geographies and working in multiple time zones.

Liaise with the statutory/group auditors to ensure timely completion of the audit.
Discussion with Hyperion support team for various issues.

Internal Interfaces

Coordination with finance controllers and their team across different geographies.
Coordination with shared service team.
Coordination with various finance domain like direct tax, secretarial, treasury, indirect tax, FP&A etc.
Coordination with holding entity of Jubilant Pharma Limited.

Person Profile

Qualification: -

Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

Experience: -

8 to 10 years of corporate accounts experience in Pharma Industry
Mandatory experience in IFRS, USGAAP and INDAS
Industry Preference - Pharma Manufacturing and Management Consulting
Ability to work in a matrix organization.
Able to work effectively within a global business culture whilst also adaptable to the local cultural environment.
Ability to energise his/her team with a clear vision of the business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
