Job summary

A leading global advisory and broking firm is looking for an experienced leader in Bengaluru to manage a team focused on new business and retention. Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of experience in health and benefits sales, demonstrate a strong ability in B2B sales, and exhibit excellent negotiation and communication skills. You will develop relationships with insurers and TPAs while ensuring detailed coordination in policy placements. A degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in health and benefits sales.
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales.
  • Basic understanding of the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Managing team to support New business and retention team in procuring best quotations.
  • Develop insurers and TPA relationships.
  • End to end coordination on policy placement.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Managing team to support New business and retention team in procuring best quotations from the available market. Prior experience at Placement Team leader will be preferred.
  • Develop insurers relationship
  • Develop TPA relationship
  • Develop relations with HQ underwriters
  • Should know technical details of all the product.
  • Should be good at negotiation skills
  • Eye to detail on drawing RFP
  • End to end coordination on policy placement
Qualifications
  • MBA/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • 10+ years experience in health and benefits sales
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software.
  • Basic understanding of the insurance industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
