Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a seasoned software professional with 6-8 years of experience to join our engineering team in India. The role emphasizes Core Java, Spring, and microservices, with strong J2EE, JPA/Hibernate, and RESTful services.

You will work on Azure deployments, RDBMS like MySQL, and modern documentation tools like Swagger and Postman. You will collaborate with product and technical managers to plan projects, design architecture, and deliver high-quality software in fast design cycles

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of software development experience.
• Strong in Core JAVA and Design Principles.
• Very strong in J2EE with Spring, JPA and Hibernate.
• Very strong in Spring Boot with RESTful Webservices and Microservices.
• Working experience on RDBMS / MySQL databases.
• Proficient in documenting processes and code using tools like POSTMAN, Swagger.
• Proficient with Azure services.
• Basic understanding of Redis caching and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Work with Managers (Technical and Product) to define and plan projects and activities.
• Develop and implement an architecture strategy.
• Foster team collaboration toward software engineering best practices meeting customer needs.
• Ensure high quality code through code reviews and defect prevention.
• Work in small teams to deliver well-integrated products with good documentation and reusable artifacts.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions.
