Ecolab in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced QA Analyst/Programmer to define and implement policies, processes and procedures ensuring reliable products and services. You will create detailed test specifications and guide program testing and evaluation.

The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs, with opportunities to lead moderate projects and coach junior colleagues under the QA Manager.

Competenze

• Typically requires a degree and 5-8 years experience; or no degree and 9-12 years combined education and equivalent work experience.
• Prepares detailed test specifications from which programs will be tested and evaluated.
• Independence: leads projects with moderate complexity and trains junior staff.

Job Characteristics: Defines, implements and continually improving policies, processes and procedures that deliver consistent and reliable products and services to businesses and customers. Prepares detailed test specifications from which programs will tested and evaluated. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the most phases of applications systems analysis. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.

Education/Work Experience: Typically requires a degree and 5-8 years experience; or no degree and 9-12 years combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year experience = 1 year education).

Independence Level/Reports to: Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Leads projects/research with moderate complexity. May provide coaching and review the work of lower-level professionals. Normally reports to QA Manager.
