We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Financial Systems Analyst within the FP&A department with proven expertise in Power BI to lead data integration from Anaplan and other data sources, data transformation and modeling, and dashboarding. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative solutions to drive financial performance and operational efficiency within our organization, while discovering new reporting and analysis to present to internal partners.

Under the supervision of the Manager, Financial Systems, who is also responsible for the Anaplan tool within FP&A, you will also perform administrative tasks within Anaplan related to data integrations, data validation, hierarchy management, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Model Design and Optimization: Design, build, and optimize Power BI models to support complex financial analyses via self-service access for our stakeholders
• 2. Data Integration and Governance: Establish robust data integration processes to ensure seamless data flows between Power BI and other financial systems, while maintaining data integrity and governance standards.
• 3. Performance Tuning and Scalability: Optimize Power BI performance and scalability by implementing best practices in model architecture, calculation logic, and data management techniques.
• 4. User Training and Enablement: Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users, empowering them to leverage Power BI effectively for decision-making, analysis, and reporting purposes.
• 5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Business Operations to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive alignment on Power BI implementation strategies. This can mean self-identifying projects and presenting new, unanticipated, functionality within Power BI
• 6. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Power BI updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and innovation.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Power BI certifications, Anaplan certifications, CMA) preferred.
• Proven experience using Power BI, with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable Power BI solutions in complex organizational environments.
• Expertise in Power BI model building, including blueprinting, module design, formula creation, and dashboard development.
• Deep understanding of financial concepts and FP&A processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable Power BI solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for driving data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines.
• Prior experience in consulting and/or leading projects is a plus.
• Experience in the education industry is a plus.
