Vrinda Global in India seeks a seasoned corporate tax professional to finalize Corporate Tax Returns, Wealth Tax Returns, and TDS Returns for all entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy across the group.

The role involves tax advisory on complex issues, interpretation of income tax treaties, and familiarity with FEMA and the Companies Act, along with managing DRP and appellate submissions and acting as the single point of contact on corporate tax matters.

Qualifications

• Finalize Corporate Tax Returns/ Wealth Tax Returns/ TDS Returns for all legal entities in India.
• Tax advisory on various tax issues with understanding of the Income Tax Act and international taxation treaties.
• Familiarity with FEMA, Companies Act.
• Independently handle assessment/reassessment proceedings including preparation of submissions and representations before income tax authorities.
• Independently handle DRP and Appellate proceedings including drafting submissions.
• Research and representation before DRP and Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals).
• Assist in Appellate proceedings before Income Tax Appellate Tribunal in drafting submissions, research and briefing counsels.
• Act as a single point of contact, internally and externally, on all corporate tax matters.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Finalization of Corporate Tax Returns/ Wealth Tax Returns/ TDS Returns for all legal entities in India

• Tax advisory on various tax issues and well versed with Domestic law i.e. Income Tax Act and International taxation involving interpretation of tax treaties
• Working knowledge of other laws such as FEMA, Companies Act
• Independently handle assessment/reassessment proceedings including preparation of

written submissions and representation before various income tax authorities

• Independently handle DRP and Appellate proceedings including drafting submissions,

research and representation before DRP and Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)

• Assist in Appellate proceedings before Income Tax Appellate Tribunal in drafting

submissions, research and briefing counsels and representing the matter
