Job summary

Bold Technology Systems seeks an experienced ML/Ops Engineer to own production ML environments and MLOps infrastructure. You will architect scalable pipelines using AWS SageMaker, EMR, and OpenSearch, and manage day-to-day support and cross-team projects across global time zones.

The role involves building and operating on Kubernetes platforms with service mesh, implementing secure and automated CI/CD workflows, and leading 24x7 on-call engineering with a focus on reliability and cost

Qualifications

• 4.5+ years Sr. Engineer or 7+ years Module Lead with AWS/DevOps production experience.
• Proficient in scripting languages: Python, Bash, Groovy, Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and IaC such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, CodePipeline/CodeBuild, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with microservices on Kubernetes and service mesh.

Responsibilities

• Architect and productionize microservices with DevOps pipelines for model serving on Kubernetes with service mesh.
• Design observability frameworks to minimize MTTR and ensure 24x7 platform reliability.
• Engineer secure, automated CI/CD workflows with governance and compliance controls.
• Lead 24x7 on-call engineering, CDN and security hardening, and cloud cost optimization.
• Manage infrastructure operations, deployments, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Coordinate across teams to scale OpenSearch/EMR platforms and platform operations.

Position Overview

Own production ML environments and MLOps infrastructure within infrastructure and data science teams. Handle day-to-day support, ad-hoc requests, and cross-team projects. Architect scalable MLOps pipelines using AWS services like SageMaker, EMR, and OpenSearch
