Job summary

Micron Technology in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a qualified engineer to develop, integrate, and optimize DFT strategies for NAND flash memory designs. You will work with digital, custom/analog, and firmware teams to push silicon validation from design through first silicon bring-up.

You will analyze testability, create test sequences, validate with Verilog/XA simulations, and document methodologies and results. Proficiency in Verilog, C/C++, Python and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Hands-on silicon exposure in Custom/Analog Design or Product Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of digital design, verification, DFT and test principles.
  • Proficiency in Verilog, C/C++, and Python.
  • Understanding NAND flash memory architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and optimize DFT strategies for NAND flash memory designs.
  • Analyze design testability to ensure quality, coverage, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Create, debug, and optimize test sequences and test modes.
  • Design, develop, and optimize firmware for NAND test algorithms, and validate functionality through simulation and silicon.
  • Validate designs using Verilog simulations and XA simulations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design & Product Engineering) to ensure seamless DFT integration.
  • Work with Product Engineering during: First silicon bring-up, Debug and characterization & Ramp to high-volume production.
  • Support post-silicon validation, failure analysis, and debug activities.
  • Document DFT methodologies, validation results, and provide clear technical reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, integrate, and optimize DFT strategies for NAND flash memory designs, including Digital design, Custom/Analog design circuits & NAND flash memory arrays.

  • Analyze design testability to ensure compliance with quality , coverage , and manufacturability requirements.

  • Create, debug, and optimize test sequences and test modes.

  • Design, develop, and optimize firmware for NAND test algorithms , and validate functionality through simulation and silicon.

  • Validate designs using Verilog simulations and XA simulations.

  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functionalteams (Design&Product Engineering) to ensure seamless DFT integration.

  • Work withProduct Engineering (PE)during: First siliconbring‑up, Debug and characterization&Ramp to high‑volume production

  • Supportpost‑siliconvalidation, failure analysis, and debug activities.

  • Document DFT methodologies, validation results, and provide clear technical reports and recommendations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering , or related field.

  • Relevant experience in Custom/Analog Design or Product Engineering with hands‑on silicon exposure.

  • Strong understanding of: Digital design, Custom/Analog Design, Verification, DFT and test principles.

  • Proficiency in Verilog, C/C++ and Python.

  • Solid understanding of NAND flash memory architecture.

  • Exposure to AI-Enabled, and Agentic AI technologies, with the ability to adopt a” Design + AI” approach by leveraging innovative AI-driven solutions to accelerate design and validation, improve productivity, and enhance engineering effectiveness and performance.

  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross‑functional, global teams.

  • Nice to have: Laboratory skills (lab tools such as oscilloscope, LSA, function generator) and testing on silicon at both wafer and package level.

  • Interpret product specifications and design circuits to meet required functionality.
