Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. is seeking a senior SoC DFT Engineer in Bengaluru to design and verify DFT features across the silicon lifecycle. You will implement ATPG/MBIST/LBIST, perform scan insertion and analog test support while collaborating with RTL, verification and backend teams.

You will also develop automation scripts (Python, Tcl, Perl) for test creation and validation, analyze test data, and document implementations for reuse IP across projects. Flexible to learn new tools and methods.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or a Bachelor's with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals.
• Experience with Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Scripting experience in Python, Tcl/Tk or Perl.
• Willingness to learn new tools, methodologies and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Implement DFT architectures including ATPG, MBIST, LBIST, scan insertion and analog test features.
• Execute test pattern generation and optimization to maximize coverage and yield.
• Apply standardized DFT methodologies and flows across projects.
• Integrate DFT into RTL and physical design with cross-team collaboration.
• Develop automation scripts for test pattern creation, validation and analysis.
• Analyze silicon test data and support root-cause debugging; document results.

Working with design and test engineers across multiple disciplines, the successful candidate will contribute throughout the silicon lifecycle and be expected to independently execute assigned tasks, drive closure of objectives, and communicate technical findings effectively.
