Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join the R&D security team, guiding design reviews and addressing security issues across medical products.

Qualifications

• BS Degree (preferably in a technical discipline).
• 8+ years of engineering experience, or comparable experience.
• 6+ years of security engineering experience.
• Experience in vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, threat modeling, security risk assessments, penetration testing, cloud security (Azure), web application security, mobile device security.
• Strong Organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
• Experience in the medical device industry and FDA Regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide/Implement security guidance and best practices in the design and development lifecycle of various medical products.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and evaluate industry standards.

• Supports other engineers on their designs, and also receives guidance from Specialists or Principal Engineer

Product Security Engineer

Summary

As part, a member of an R&D team, the Product Security Engineer works in close collaboration with the project & cybersecurity lead on assigned tasks and provides inputs to the design and testing of the new product/project. The engineer also provides guidance to software developers on their security issues, engages in design reviews, and helps resolve security issues.
