Job summary

Micron Technology in Sanand, Gujarat is seeking a Sr. ELV Engineer (Facilities Operations) to oversee operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability, and continuous improvement of all ELV systems across the facility to maximise uptime and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8–12 years of ELV experience, a bachelor's in electrical, electronics or instrumentation engineering, and hands-on skills in CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS/SCADA, and data networks.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of ELV Systems Operation & Maintenance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all ELV systems across the facility, including CCTV, access control, PA, FAS, cabling, fiber, BMS/SCADA, security management, emergency comms, data networks, SCADA, VESDA, FMCS, PLC.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs; monitor system health and performance trends; perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis; minimize downtime; maintain backups and configuration records.
• Respond to ELV alarms and incidents; troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and field devices; coordinate with OEMs, integrators and service providers for complex issues; support emergency response for life safety systems.
• Support commissioning, expansion, and modification projects; review drawings, layouts, submittals and specs; participate in FAT/SAT and system acceptance; ensure proper handover and documentation.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Security, IT, EHS, Construction and Operations; manage contractors and service agreements; conduct vendor evaluations and performance reviews; proficiency with Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.
