KlearNow.ai is seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to drive security into our DevOps lifecycle. You will embed security from design through production, automate testing, and model threats to reduce risk across cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• DevOps experience: 5+ years in DevOps roles with CI/CD and cloud infra.
• Security knowledge: OWASP, NIST, CIS frameworks.
• Technical skills: Python/Bash, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and configuration management tools.
• Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CCSP preferred.
• Problem-solving: strong analytical skills to identify and address security issues.
• Communication: strong cross-functional communication with teams.

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and drive the integration of security into our DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, a passion for security, and a proven ability to automate and streamline processes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our applications and infrastructure throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Security Integration: Incorporate security best practices into our DevOps pipeline, ensuring that security is considered from the earliest stages of development to production.
• Security Testing: Implement and maintain automated security testing tools and processes, such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and code analysis.
• Threat Modeling: Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks in our applications and infrastructure.
• Secure Configuration Management: Enforce secure configuration standards for all systems and applications using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans, and participate in incident response activities when necessary.
• Security Awareness: Promote security awareness within the team and organization through training, education, and communication.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that security is a shared responsibility.

Qualifications

• DevOps Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
• Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of security principles, practices, and frameworks, such as OWASP, NIST, and CIS.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and configuration management tools.
• Security Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and convey complex security concepts.
