Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer in India to build and run scalable Azure-based infrastructure for a growing SaaS platform.

You will design CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, automate provisioning with Terraform/Pulumi, and strengthen operational reliability for enterprise-scale SaaS environments. The role emphasizes security, observability, and automation, with collaboration across development and QA teams to accelerate releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related role.
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience and cloud-native architecture.
• Proven GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD experience.
• Inf rastructure-as-code with Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep or similar.
• Scripting in Bash/PowerShell/Python for automation and infra mgmt.
• Docker & Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred).
• Observability tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, Application Insights.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise-scale SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, etc.).
• Design and manage Azure infrastructure supporting SaaS applications and services.
• Manage and monitor Azure components like App Services, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Application Gateway.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-response processes for reliability.
• Work with development and QA teams to streamline deployment workflows and releases.
• Apply cloud security best practices including secure secrets management and IAM with Key Vault.
• Improve automation, deployment velocity, resilience, and overall efficiency.
• Support enterprise-scale SaaS environments and ensure availability and security.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer- Terraform/Pulumi based in India.

This role focuses on building and operating scalable cloud infrastructure that supports a growing SaaS platform.
You will design CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and strengthen the reliability of Azure-based environments.
The position combines Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud operations, automation, security, and observability.
You will work closely with development and QA teams to improve deployment processes and accelerate reliable software releases.
A strong emphasis on monitoring, incident response, security, and resilience will help maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecture.
• Proven experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Docker and AKS or Kubernetes is preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, or comparable observability and monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience supporting and operating enterprise-scale SaaS platforms is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, QA, and other technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Pulumi is specifically relevant to the role and may be assessed during the application process.
• Candidates should be based in Pune or be willing to relocate there.
