Job summary

Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Developer for Enterprise Application - SAP to design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP, with strong focus on SAP PI/PO integrations and S/4HANA compatibility.

The role demands hands-on experience across IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, and related adapters, along with deployment, SIT/UAT, and post-production support activities in a fast-moving AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• SAP certification(s) listed in the qualifications section.
• Proficiency in ABAP and SAP interfaces and integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Implement SAP integration with other systems and applications.
• Lead SAP PI/PO development, production support, and migration projects.
• Manage message mapping, IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, and SFTP adapters for integration.

Job Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language
• Implement SAP integration with other systems and applications
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO development, production support, and migration projects.
• Strong expertise in message mapping, graphical mapping, UDF, and Java Mapping.
• Extensive experience with IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, Proxy, JDBC, and SFTP adapters.
• Experience in troubleshooting, interface monitoring, and deployment activities.
• Experience managing deployments, transports, SIT, UAT, and post-production support activities.
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex integration issues.
• Effective collaborator with business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integration lifecycle management, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users
• Stay updated with SAP technologies and best practices to optimize system performance and efficiency.
