Job summary

Vamani Overseas is seeking a Product Design (PD) Designer to craft export-quality garments. You will design, develop, and deliver CADs, tech packs, and prototypes aligned with brand guidelines and market needs.

You will work with US/UK/EU brands, interpret feedback, and coordinate with production to ensure samples meet design intent, while tracking trends for seasonal launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development and design for international markets.
• Strong CAD/Illustrator/Photoshop skills; pattern making and garment construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication with international clients; time management and understanding of US/UK/EU sizing; quality control.

Design & Development

• Conceptualizes designs based on brand guidelines.
• Creates tech packs, CADs, and prototypes.

Client Interaction

• Works with buyers or design teams from US, UK, or European brands.
• Interprets client feedback and adjusts designs accordingly.
• Ensures product aligns with brand identity and market trends.

Production Support

• Coordinates with production teams to ensure samples and bulk production match the design intent.
• Conducts fit sessions, approves pre-production samples, and resolves technical issues.

Trend & Market Analysis

• Tracks international fashion trends.
• Adapts designs to meet export standards and seasonal requirements.

Requirements for US/UK/EU Brand PD Designers

• Experience: 510+ years in product development and design for international markets.
• Technical Skills: CAD, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, pattern making, garment construction knowledge.
• Soft Skills: Communication with international clients, time management, understanding of sizing standards (US/UK/EU), quality control.
• Languages: English fluency (mandatory for US/UK/EU clients).
