Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in India is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and build scalable data processing systems, and to lead end-to-end data pipelines in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment.

You will collaborate with data scientists, optimize data infrastructure for performance, and mentor junior engineers. Hybrid work arrangement and a focus on Databricks and Spark will be central to delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degrees in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics.
• Masters in Data Science or related Databricks certifications.
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data processing systems
• Implement and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement appropriate solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in big data engineering
• Mentor junior data engineers on best practices and technical skills
