Job summary

Genpact in India (Gurugram) seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using SSIS and SQL Server, with PostgreSQL experience for data extraction and reporting.

You will optimize queries, perform data migrations, ensure data quality and security, and collaborate with analysts and developers to meet data requirements in a fast-moving AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
• Proficient in SQL programming, stored procedures, views, and indexing.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and data integration concepts.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
• Experience using Git or other version control tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using SSIS.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in SQL Server.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data extraction, loading, and reporting.
• Perform data migration between SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other data sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL failures and database performance issues.
