Position Overview
As a Sr Dashboard Developer, we are looking for someone with strong experience in data visualization, dashboard design, and analytics using Tableau and ThoughtSpot. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SQL, understands modern cloud data platforms, and excels at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will work closely with our internal teams and technology partners to deliver comprehensive and scalable marketing data and analytics solutions. This role offers the unique opportunity to engage in many technology platforms in a rapidly evolving marketing technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau and ThoughtSpot dashboards for marketing and business teams
- SQL expertise for querying and optimizing data in Google BigQuery
- Translate marketing requirements into clear KPIs, metrics, and visual analytics
- Develop insights across campaign performance, funnels, attribution, and audience segmentation
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and trusted reporting across dashboards
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability for large, complex datasets
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to understand source data and models
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 9 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on analytics and reporting environments (e.g., BigQuery).
- Proven experience delivering consumer marketing dashboards and analytical insights for enterprise stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, metrics definition, and analytics platforms used for business intelligence and reporting.
- Advanced experience with SQL, including querying large, complex datasets; familiarity with NoSQL concepts is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience building dashboards on top of modern cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
- Familiarity with marketing data sources and tools, including platforms such as Google Analytics, Blueconic, Klaviyo, and similar systems.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing concepts, including targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, attribution, and funnel analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate data into insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team‑oriented mindset, with experience partnering across marketing, analytics, and technology teams.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, collaborating through iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
