Job summary

Providence College Of Engineering in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud Security Engineer - 3P) to lead cloud security strategy and hands-on implementations for Azure-based and hybrid environments.

You will design secure architectures, enforce guardrails with Azure Policy, drive CSPM initiatives, and collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security across delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure security and enterprise cloud governance.
• Experience with CSPM platforms like Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Prisma Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Policy, RBAC, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
• Experience securing cloud workloads, containers, Kubernetes, and platform services.

• Ability to lead cloud security programs and influence security outcomes across large enterprises.

Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in cloud security architecture, governance, and security program execution. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical SME capable of driving cloud security strategy, implementing enterprise security controls, and partnering with engineering teams to secure Azure-based and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security initiatives, governance programs, and security transformation efforts across enterprise cloud platforms.
• Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with Zero Trust and industry security best practices.
• Develop and enforce cloud security guardrails using Azure Policy, security baselines, and governance frameworks.
• Implement and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities to continuously improve cloud security posture.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices using Terraform and cloud automation technologies.
• Partner with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Application teams to embed security into cloud platforms, services, and delivery pipelines.

Required Skills
