Job summary

YASH Technologies, Inc. in Pune is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Tech Lead with 10+ years of SAP HANA ABAP experience, including S/4HANA, ABAP OO, CDS views, RAP, AMDPs, OData services and Fiori. Lead design, development and optimization of SAP applications and drive complex migrations and implementations.

You will collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants, ensure code quality, performance tuning, and create technical documentation while guiding the team in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SAP HANA ABAP development with recent SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Strong OO ABAP, SAP HANA platform, S/4HANA architecture, CDS views, AMDPs, OData, MDG, Fiori, RAP and performance tuning tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and testing of SAP applications using OO ABAP, CDS Views, RAP ABAP.
• Develop complex reports, interfaces, enhancements (BADI, User Exits), forms (Adobe Forms), and workflows.

Position Title: SAP S/4HANA Tech Lead

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience:

• 10+ years in SAP HANA ABAP development, with recent projects focusing on SAP S/4HANA.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP). Experience with the SAP HANA platform, S/4HANA architecture, CDS views, AMDPs, OData services, MDG, Fiori, RAP and performance tuning tools is essential.

Project Exposure:

• Experience in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Implementation, Migration, Rollout or Support projects.
• Experience in greenfield or brownfield S/4HANA migration project

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Design, Development, and Test SAP Application using Object Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, RAP ABAP
• Develop complex Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements (BADI, User Exits), Forms (Adobe Forms), and Workflows

HANA Optimization:

• Experience in ATC check and ABAP code remediation for HANA compatibility
• Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, and Code Optimization for the SAP HANA database utilizing techniques like ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and
• Core Data Services (CDS) views.
• Create and maintain OData services and APIs for data access and integration, and develop user interfaces using technologies like SAP Fiori
• Hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting applications using RAP

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform performance tuning, and provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP applications.

Documentation:

• Contribute to prepare standards, guidelines for latest SAP technologies
• Create comprehensive Technical Documentation, and ensure all development adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Perform Peer and Code Review Activities and guide the team

Architecting and Collaboration:

• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Evaluate alternative solutions for business requirements/issues, present it to the stakeholders with pros and cons and get it implemented to give best business outcome

Must Have:

Technical HANA ABAP:

• Strong Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP)
• CDS-Views
• AMDP
• OData Services, Webservices and APIs
• RAP ABAP
• MDG frameworks including WebDynpro/FPM
• Implement and customize SAP S/4HANA solutions with a focus on Fiori, including the use of CDS Views, OData services, and AMDPs to enhance Fiori applications and ensure compatibility with S/4HANA features

Soft Skills:

Tools:

• SAP HANA Studio or Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Support ticket resolution tools, defect management tools, DevOps, Azure base tools

Good to have: Technical:

• Design, Develop, and Implement Master Data Governance solutions, focusing on data modelling, workflow configuration (BRFplus), and integration (DRF) with SAP S/4HANA or ECC
• Identify and resolve issues in SAP Fiori and UI5 applications, enhance standard Fiori apps by optimizing OData services and improving overall application performance

Domain:

• Knowledge of various functional streams of SAP HANA like I2C, O2S, I2M, S2P, S2C, R2R, C2O
