About the role

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Backend Developer to lead technical initiatives and drive innovation across our client projects. This role bridges technical excellence with client engagement- architecting sophisticated solutions, mentoring junior talent, and translating complex business requirements into scalable, AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate is not just a developer but a technical leader who understands business processes, modern development practices, and can help drive transformative value for our clients using cutting-edge Python technologies and AI frameworks.

Job responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable applications using FastAPI, implementing advanced features and optimization strategies
• Lead the development of sophisticated AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks for production environments
• Build complex Streamlit applications with custom components, advanced data visualizations, and optimal user experiences
• Engage directly with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing sessions
• Oversee technical aspects of projects from planning and architecture through deployment and maintenance
• Research and implement emerging technologies, contributing to R&D initiatives and innovation strategies
• Establish testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices across projects
• Facilitate technical workshops and stakeholder meetings to align on solutions and deliverables
• Monitor application performance and lead troubleshooting efforts from both technical and business impact perspectives

Job requirements

• 5+ years of Python development experience with production-level applications and proven technical leadership
• Expert-level proficiency in FastAPI including advanced features like dependencies, middleware, and background tasks
• Advanced Streamlit development skills including custom components, session state management, and performance optimization
• Deep expertise in LangChain/LangGraph for building and deploying production AI applications
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and scalable system design
• Extensive experience with database design, optimization, and management (PostgreSQL, No SQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and deployment strategies with hands‑on DevOps experience
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern development workflows
• Proven track record in API security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring developers is highly valued
• Background in consulting or client-services environments is a plus
