Job summary

Blue Yonder in Bengaluru seeks a senior WMS expert to lead implementation and change management for global programs. You will map business processes, write functional specs, and coordinate testing and go-live activities.

You will engage with clients at management levels, prepare presentations, and ensure data integrity while guiding technical teams. Travel readiness is required to support on-site deployments and offshore collaborations.

Qualifications

Job description

Overview : Blue Yonder WMS solution expert for transformational projects/programs. Strong domain knowledge in Blue Yonder WMS for solution construct and key contributor to the Change Management Assists in project planning efforts. Lead customer communication and facilitate business process mapping. Provide support for client cutover and go-live/Hyper care. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Conducts/leads business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications. Develops functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.

What you’ll do:

Strong domain knowledge in Blue Yonder /RedPrairie Discrete WMS solution to construct an overall architecture for current and future customer business needs. Key contributor to the Change Management efforts for global or regional program implementations Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology. Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints. Can demonstrate and facilitate process discussions of product functionality and product architecture (i.e., Show data and process flow from one Blue Yonder solution to another) Design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements. Lead the project team in preparing Product Requirement Specifications, test plan for modifications. Interact closely with Development services in modification development, quality delivery and organizing demonstrations with customers on modifications. Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project. Supports the development and execution of test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder consistently meets the customer's business objectives. Provides level 3 non-technical support during the "go-live" period. Provides level 3 user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity. Conductsfunctionalanalysissessionswithclientsand/ortheprojectteamtounderstandthebusinessneedsoftheclientanddevelopstechnicalsolutionstomeetthoseneeds. Provide functional support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing & programming.

Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration. Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore. Handles activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment on methods and techniques for obtaining solutions within generally defined practices and policies. Designs and develops platform workflow/ user interface, integration scripts, ETL mapping, data modeling and data loading. Provides internal training, implementation support activities, or work on internal development projects. Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Communicates business cases to Product Management Group and Product Development team regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements. Interacts with PMG & PD regarding new releases and new functionality and acts as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.

What we are looking for:

4+ Years of corporate experience Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline. Expertise in technical configuration of WMS product, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing, PLSQL, SQL Server, and Performance Tuning. Hands‑on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably Blue Yonder /RedPrairieWMS), Jasper reports, Nice labels, Pagebuilder and MOCA. Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS. Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance. Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants. Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions. Highly developed analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently, effectively, and proactively. Teamwork mentality Contributes to the growth of consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, and best‑practice collateral.
