Key Responsibilities:

Data Modelling

• Contributing to the design and implementation of data models, ensuring they are optimized for reporting and analysis.

Report and Dashboard Development

• Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.

Data Warehousing and Database Management

• Architect and maintain data warehouses and data marts to support reporting and analytical needs.
• Implement and enforce data modelling best practices to ensure scalability and performance.

Technical Assistance

• Supporting the implementation of BI tools and systems, including data integration, ETL process and database management.

Documentation and Training

• Assisting in creating user documentation and training materials for BI tools and solutions.

Learning and Development

• Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in BI development, data engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
• Proven experience in data warehousing design, implementation, and management.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Good conceptual understanding of data science methodologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
• Experience with machine learning is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics.
• Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark, EMR, or Athena.
