Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing Initiatives – Lead and manage strategic sourcing projects to support R&D operations and objectives.
• Supplier Management – Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure supplier performance.
• Cost Optimization- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost reduction strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with R&D, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of sourcing strategies.
• Risk Management – Develop and maintain risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Market Analysis- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Performance Reporting- Monitor and report on KPIs related to sourcing activities.
• Contract Management- Drafting and negotiating agreements, including management of redlines and cross-functional alignment.
• Support global sourcing activities and operations, including selection, onboarding and contracting.
• Track and report spend, usage, and performance through scorecards and reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing tools, processes, and sourcing strategies.

Role Description

Senior Associate sourcing will play a key role within Global Strategic Sourcing, supporting the development and implementation of R&D sourcing strategies. This role will focus on ensuring optimal sourcing support and leveraging tools to drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The individual will partner closely with category leads and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing Initiatives – Lead and manage strategic sourcing projects to support R&D operations and objectives. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Supplier Management – Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure supplier performance meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Cost Optimization- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with R&D, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of sourcing strategies. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams.
• Risk Management – Develop and maintain risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Market Analysis- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• Performance Reporting- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing activities. Prepare and present reports to senior management.
• Contract Management- drafting and negotiating agreements, including management of redlines, fallback positions, and cross-functional alignment through execution.
• Support global sourcing activities and operations, including selection, onboarding and contracting.
• Track and report spend, usage, and performance through scorecards and reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing tools, processes, and sourcing strategies.
