Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor corporate debt and equity investments and support portfolio management including quarterly valuation and reporting.
• Assist deal teams with investments and valuation.
• Support potential restructuring with detailed financial models including cash flow and capital-structure analysis.
• Utilize firm’s proprietary software tools for company tracking.
• Support mark-to-market valuations and related processes.
• Analyze portfolio trends, leverage and price development.
• Oversee day-to-day SBS team operations and alignment with goals.
• Mentor and coach SBS team members and build stakeholder relationships.
• Lead cross-functional projects ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation across functions.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

will provide support for the monitoring of Ares Direct Lending Group European corporate debt and equity investments, including general portfolio management, quarterly valuation and reporting, supporting the potential restructuring of investments with senior investment professionals, as well as supporting ongoing fund raising and

Key Responsibilities Include

• Core responsibility of monitoring corporate debt and equity investment
• Providing assistance to deal teams with assigned investments and general portfolio management including quarterly valuation and reporting
• Supporting potential restructuring with detailed Excel financial models including cash flow analysis, and related capital structure restructuring analysis
• Utilizing firm’s proprietary software tools for company tracking
• Performing and helping manage mark-to-market quarter end valuations and process
• Analyzing portfolio trends and market leverage and price development.

Another Key Responsibility Is Supporting SBS Teams

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the SBS team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and succession planning.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

10–15 years of relevant alternate investments, credit, or lending experience

Strong intellect with solid quantitative, financial and analytical skills and attention to details
