What You Will Do

The Senior Associate IS Analyst – Veeva Test Automation Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex automation solutions for the Veeva Vault platform. The role requires mentorship, adherence to standard processes, and continuous improvement of automation capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support design and testing of complex Veeva automation solutions.
• Provide mentorship and ensure standard processes are followed.
• Demonstrate expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to test automation such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Apply understanding of software design patterns and architecture.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of different test automation frameworks and patterns.
• Oversee system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Engage in excellent communication and collaboration.
• Proactively identify and implement automation opportunities and develop reusable frameworks.

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 5-9 years’ experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with Veeva Vault Platform and products.
• 4-5 years of experience working in the global pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in at least one advanced programming language such as Python or Java.
• Strong expertise in test automation, including hands‑on experience with UiPath for test automation and business process automation.
• Expertise in various automation frameworks and patterns, with the ability to adapt and implement them effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create detailed documentation.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work in a startup-like environment with limited supervision.
• Good understanding of functional testing concepts, including test design, business process validation, and regression testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced Veeva Vault configuration, including Veeva configuration settings, Veeva Vault APIs, and custom builds.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, translating technology content into business language at multiple levels.
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.

Professional Certifications

• Veeva Vault Platform Administrator or an equivalent Vault certification (preferred).
