Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a passionate Sr Artist II in India to contribute visually across the game production lifecycle. You will collaborate with a tight-knit Art team, translating briefs into polished artwork and delivering production-ready assets for characters, symbols, backgrounds, and UI elements.

You’ll work closely with Art Directors and teammates to maintain the game’s artistic vision, while continuously refining your craft and staying current with digital art trends and techniques.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in digital illustration and game art.
• Casino/Slot gaming experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently from concept to final polished production artwork.
• Strong portfolio showcasing premium-quality illustration work.

What You’ll Do

At Aristocrat, we’re seeking a passionate and creative Sr Artist II who is ready to make an exceptionally positive impact on our gaming projects. As a member of our collaborative Art team, you will:

• Contribute to crafting visually compelling artwork throughout the game production lifecycle.
• Work closely with Senior Artists and Art Directors to deliver high-quality illustrations that align with the game’s artistic vision.
• Understand art briefs, translate concepts into polished artwork, and deliver within production timelines.
• Build production-ready artwork including characters, symbols, backgrounds, feature illustrations, promotional assets, and UI elements.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Technical Artists, Designers, Animators, and Developers to deliver engaging player experiences.
• Participate in creative discussions and contribute ideas during concept development.
• Revise artwork based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Ensure assets meet production standards and technical requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and follow established art pipelines.
• Continuously improve artistic skills and stay updated with current digital art trends and techniques.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should be highly motivated and self-organized with a zeal to build outstanding artwork. Specifically, we are looking for:

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in digital illustration and game art.
• Experience in the Casino/Slot Gaming industry is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently from concept to final polished production artwork.
• Advanced and applied understanding of artistic skills (colour, form, perspective, layout, and sketch).
• High level of proficiency in producing results with essential art software (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
• Good English communication skills.
• Adaptive behavior and flexibility in undertaking tasks.
• Demonstrates integrity and organizational behavior.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating premium-quality illustration work.
• Proficiency in working with essential software – Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with AI-assisted art tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.) as efficiency tools.
• Strong conceptual and traditional drawing skills along with a good understanding of Art and Animation principles.
