Job Description

As a Senior Applications Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions critical to UPS Healthcare operations, using approved standards and technologies in complex solution analysis and design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.
• Provide knowledge and support for application development, integration, and maintenance.
• Analyze and gather requirements for new implementations and change requests.
• Create detailed technical and mapping specifications in coordination with cross-technology teams.
• Develop ITX typetrees, maps, and system related to mapping specifications.
• Write code following best practices.
• Participate in meetings to understand business requirements.
• Work with architects to define integration architecture.
• Collaborate with business analysts and partners.
• Provide post go-live support.
• Engage in technical enhancements and automate message reprocessing during environment outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in integration development, design, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with WTX/ITX, IIB on UNIX and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of IBM WTX/ITX tools including MAP, Typetree, and Integration Flow designer.
• Experience with ITX versions 9.0/10.0, Design studio, Partner manager.
• IBM MQ development skills, including SSL, channels, queues, MQIPT.
• Experience with XML, Flat file, JSON, EDIFACT formats and their implementation in ITX.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database concepts.
• Basic Unix commands and shell scripting skills.
• Strong analytical, design, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated learner with the ability to understand complex business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare logistics is a plus.
