Job summary

UPS in Chennai is seeking a senior software engineer to lead frontend initiatives, including micro frontend work, and contribute to scalable product development across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with product, design and operations teams to deliver robust, secure applications while mentoring junior developers and shaping architecture with modern patterns.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent with good academic record.
• Experience in product development with Lean/SAFe methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and micro frontend development.

• Designs and develops moderate to highly complex applications.

Experience

• 8+ years of total software development experience
• Have worked in Product development,
• Good knowledge on Lean Agile / SAFe ways of working.
• Have developed solution from scratch not just enhancements.
• Strong experience using various design patterns.
• Have worked on application design.
• Good knowledge on Integration patterns
• Good background in either creating or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience handling L2 / L3 incidents
• Strong experience is developing Micro Frontend applications.
• Have experience of varied unit test frameworks.
• Demonstratable record of building secure and highly available applications.
• Have previously worked on container-based hosting of applications
