The role requires MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack components, secure coding, and CI/CD practices. A 5+ year track record in Android development and strong problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and production release.
• Contribute to application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while actively participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering, to deliver intuitive and user-centric solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and application stability issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Android application development using Kotlin and Java.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK and modern Android development frameworks.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Components such as ViewModel, Room, LiveData, Navigation, and related libraries.
• Solid experience implementing MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Strong knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with unit testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD practices is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise-grade or large-scale mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative development environments.
