Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a software engineer to collaborate with the development team to design, code, test software solutions, and maintain critical components while meeting project deadlines.

You will participate in design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, document requirements, mentor juniors, and help drive architectural decisions in a collaborative, in-person-focused environment with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience with at least 1+ year in a similar role.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to challenging tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Proficiency in coding and debugging complex software componentsFamiliarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training a plus
