Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer to lead architecture, development, deployment and operationalization of secure, scalable AI-powered applications.

You will combine strong software engineering with practical expertise in Generative AI, agentic systems, cloud-native services, data integration and modern user experiences. You will build enterprise-grade services and APIs using C# and .NET, develop frontend experiences with modern frameworks, integrate LLMs and AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience delivering production AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment and support of full-stack and AI-powered applications.
• Translate business problems into scalable architectures and delivery plans.
• Build secure, maintainable backend services, APIs and microservices using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core; apply sound object-oriented and domain-driven design principles where appropriate.
• Develop responsive, accessible and reusable frontend components using Angular, React, Blazor or an equivalent modern framework.
• Design and implement GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, prompt orchestration, tool calling, AI agents and copilots, including AzureOpenAI and Semantic Kernel-based integrations.
• Implement MCP or similar integration patterns that enable governed connectivity between AI agents, enterprise tools, APIsanddatasources.
• Design retrieval pipelines including document ingestion, chunking, metadata, embeddings, vectorsearch, relevance evaluation and citation or grounding strategies.
• Integrate relational, non-relational, streaming and analytical data sources; contribute to reliable data pipelines and data contracts that support AI applications.
• Apply responsibleAI and security-by-design practices, including access control,privacy, content safety, prompt-injection defenses, auditability and human oversightappropriate to the use case.
• Own production readiness through automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure configuration, observability, performance tuning, incident responseand root-cause analysis.
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews; define reusable patterns, coding standards and quality gates across theengineering lifecycle.
• Mentor associate and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, pairing, constructive review feedback and knowledge sharing.
• Partnerwith product owners and stakeholders to refine scope, communication technical trade-offs, manage dependencies and deliver incremental business value.
• Evaluateemerging technologies through structured prototypes and recommend adoption based on security, operability, cost, maintainability and business fit.
• UseAI-assisted engineeringtools responsiblyfor coding, testing,documentation and developer productivity while ensuring human review and compliance

Position Overview

As a Senior AI Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the architecture, development, deployment and operationalization of secure, scalable AI-powered applications. You will combine strong software engineering with practical expertise in Generative AI, agentic systems, cloud-native services, data integration and modern user experiences. The role is expected to independentlyowner complex technical outcomes, guide engineering decisions, mentor junior engineers and partner with architects, data scientists, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver measurable enterprise value.

You willbuild enterprise-grade services and APIs using C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core), develop modern frontend experiences, integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-AugmentedGeneration (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP) and enterprise data sources, and establish engineering practices that improve reliability, security, observability and delivery velocity.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+yearsof professional software engineering experience, including hands-off delivery of production applications.

Required technical expertise

• Productionexperiencewitha modern frontendframework suchas Angular, React or Blazor, plusHTML–CSS, TypeScript or JavaScriptand secureclient-server integration.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or machine-learning capabilitiesintoapplications, including prompt designandRAG, toolor functioncalling, evaluation and production safeguards.
• StrongSQL skills and practical experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQLServeror PostgreSQL; working knowledge of non-relational or vector datastores.
• Experience delivering cloud-native workloads on Azure, GCP or AWS using containers, Kubernetes or OpenShift, configuration management and managed platform services.
• ExperiencewithGit–pull-request workflows, CI/CDusing Azure DevOps or GitHubActions, automated unit and integration testing, code quality and release practices.
• Workingexpertisein logging, metrics, tracing alerting, resiliency, troubleshooting, incident response and production support.
• Practical knowledgeof authenticationandauthorization, secretsmanagement, secure coding, dependency risk, data protection and enterprise security controls.
