Job summary

Dailoqa in India is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help shape AI-powered solutions for the Financial Services domain. You will work closely with the founders, contribute to product strategy, and build scalable AI systems.

You will design and deploy agentic AI workflows, leverage LangGraph, AutoGen and CrewAI, develop data pipelines, and launch production-ready APIs with strong focus on performance, reliability, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in AI/MLOps roles.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
• Experience with Generative AI, RAG and NLP.
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) and IaC (Terraform).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, governance and testing practices.

AI/Sr AI Engineer (Agentic AI & Generative AI)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven AI Engineer to help shape the future of AI-powered solutions for the Financial Services industry. As a team member, you will work closely with the founders, contribute to product strategy, and develop cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Work directly with the founding team as a core contributor to the company's growth and success.
• Develop innovative AI and Generative AI solutions for Financial Services clients.
• Design, build, and refine datasets to evaluate, benchmark, and continuously improve AI systems.
• Contribute to product strategy, solution architecture, and roadmap planning.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and help transform research into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Agentic AI & Generative AI Development

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build multi-agent and multimodal AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, and related orchestration platforms.
• Develop AI workflows capable of reasoning, planning, tool utilization, and autonomous task execution.
• Research and implement advanced AI techniques, including:

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Semantic Search
• Knowledge Graphs and Knowledge Representation
• Fine-Tuning and Model Adaptation
• Prompt Engineering
• LLM Evaluation and Reasoning Frameworks

• Stay current with evolving AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to client use cases.
• Build production-grade AI applications and APIs using modern development frameworks.
• Architect robust backend services and scalable AI infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize model inference pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Data & Evaluation

• Create high-quality datasets for model training, testing, benchmarking, and evaluation.
• Establish evaluation frameworks to monitor model performance, accuracy, robustness, and safety.

MLOps & Model Lifecycle Management

• Automate model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and retraining processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and AI applications.
• Ensure proper governance, reproducibility, and traceability of models and datasets.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Understand business challenges deeply and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
• Drive customer-centric innovation with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
• Review, refactor, and optimize machine learning and AI application code.
• Implement best practices for software engineering, testing, security, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps, or related technical roles.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and modern AI concepts.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Generative AI applications
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• AI agent frameworks
• Experience building datasets for training, evaluation, or benchmarking machine learning models.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
