We are seeking a talented Adv Software/Sr. Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join the RDT Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and reporting using the latest technology to provide insights to the business. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deploy data analytics solutions that address complex business challenges. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing data to identify key insights into customers and explore ways data can solve problems in aerospace and engineering operations.

This role will be responsible for creating and editing visual content, including maps, charts, and graphs. Transforming data sets and analyses into compelling visuals, and providing visual, technical, and editorial guidance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct business requirement analysis sessions to gather customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data-driven projects.
• Create and review documentation such as Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and design documents to ensure clear communication of system requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and automation scripts using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python, aligning solutions with business needs.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts, SQL queries, and custom calculations in Tableau and Power BI, ensuring they meet technical specifications and business needs.
• Update and optimize existing dashboards, data models, and scripts to improve performance and accuracy, documenting all changes thoroughly.
• Test data models, dashboards, and scripts to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance, and deploy solutions into production seamlessly.
• Validate data visualizations and address discrepancies or errors.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within data models, dashboards, and scripts, enhancing applications for high performance and reliability.
• Deploy software applications and systems, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Implement data solutions by deploying dashboards and reports into production environments, ensuring integration and accessibility.
• Create user guides, manuals, and technical documentation to support stakeholders in utilizing data solutions effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (Excel, SPSS, SAS) and mastery in SQL, Python, and R.
• Excellent UX capabilities with hands-on experience in Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, etc.
• Exceptional analytical skills to analyze, structure, examine, and present large data sets with precision.
• Ability to critically evaluate data to derive actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex data insights for non-technical audiences.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or MBA in any discipline.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant industry experience.
